Refund Rules and Regulations

A name change is allowed under the following circumstances, provided you submit supporting documents (Like, a marriage certificate or passport copy) and a service charge of USD 50.00:

• Complete Information:
  Make sure to provide full and accurate details when completing the refund form to avoid delays.
• No-Show Fee:
  If the refund is requested on or after the flight date, an additional No-Show fee will apply. A No-Show occurs when a passenger fails to either use the ticket or cancel the reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure.
• Ticket Issued by Travel Agency:
  For tickets purchased through a travel agency, please contact the agency directly to request a refund.
• Ticket Purchased with Cash or Bank Deposit:
  For tickets originally purchased with cash or via bank deposit, please visit your nearest Ethiopian Airlines Ticket Office or contact your travel agency for assistance.
• Service Interruptions:
  If your flight is impacted by a schedule change or cancellation, please complete the refund form for any additional services purchased, such as:
  • Seat selection
  • Upgrades
  • Extra baggage
  • Wi-Fi services
  • Lounge access
  • Priority boarding
• Cancellation of Entire Journey:
  Please be aware that the booking will be cancelled for the entire journey if a refund request is processed.
• Non-Reversible Request:
  Once the refund request is submitted, it cannot be reversed. Make sure all information is correct before completing the form.
• Refund Process for Extra Services:
  In case of service disruptions, you are eligible for a refund on extra services like seat selection or baggage, provided you fill out the form.

  Remember to check all details carefully before submitting the form, as the request is final and cannot be undone.
